LGS operates a worldwide supply management chain and strives to ensure that every component part of the chain works together with maximum efficiency and mutual benefit. To this end, we select our suppliers very carefully; where possible we use local suppliers which will best benefit the local economy. We only select manufacturers who can prove their adherence to acceptable environmental and human rights policies and who promote the continuous improvement of working conditions in consultation with workers and their representatives.
The packaging and the weight of products is given special consideration in order to minimise transportation costs and fuel consumption, and ultimately reducing the impact on our environment.
